You and your friends are welcome to Finland and to Forssa. 18th annual Summer Night Marathon – including full marathon, half marathon, 10K and inline skating will take place on Saturday, June 12, 2010 in Forssa, beautiful city in the middle of Southern Finland.

We expect over 4.000 entrants from 10-15 countries to this race: over 700 on full marathon, 1.500 on half marathon, over 1.000 on 10K and over 700 on five inline skating races.

LOCATION:
In the middle of Southern Häme, small city surrounded by verdant country. Distances are 120K from Helsinki, 90K from Turku, 85K from Tampere.

The Packet Pick-up is at the race centre, Forssa Icehockey Stadium. Roadsigns at each city entrances.

COURSES:
Beautiful mid-summer loop-routes on country-side passing many lakes. Refreshment stations every 3-4 km, over 10.000 enthusiastic spectators, music etc.

The Half Marathon (21,096K) course is popular among the best Finnish runners. It is almost pan cake flat. Set your goal to new records! "Rabbits" ensure constant speed for 5 and 5:40 minutes per K. 14 aid stations.

The Marathon (42,195K)  The Half Marathon course is run twice.

Ten K race will follow a very flat route. Lots of audience and music, and two aid stations.

CATEGORIES AND PRIZES:
Marathon and half marathon:
Men and women/ general, 40, 45, 55, 60 and 65 years.
10K: Men and women/ general.
Inline Skating (all with timing): Men and women/ general.

Five best will be rewarded in general category, in other categories three best.

AWARDS:
Medal to each RUNNER finisher, T-shirt, result brochure and official diploma.

OTHER FEATURES:
After race refreshments and dinner in the Race Centre.

Visit to spa bath and swimming including Finnish sauna - free bus tour to and from the spa!

You will be photographed on the route. Your personal photo order code and order information paper (size A5) will be in your race package. The photo orders will be done with your order code at www.kuvatilaus.fi .

ORGANIZATION:
Athletics Club "Forssan Salama" (meaning Flash of Forssa) has been rewarded for arrangements of quality running events for years. More than 600 volunteers ensure hospitality, quality of aid stations and smooth arrangements. Atmosphere is created by thousand of spectators – including Your family and friends.

REGISTERATION:

Race day registration IS POSSIBLE 1 hour before the race start at the Packet Pick-up. E.g. for marathon it ends at 3:00 p.m.  But don"t forget to reserve the accomodation - directly to the hotels.
